What can I ask Ed for class activity ideas?
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Ed, the assistant in Ed.ai (“Talk to Ed!”), can help you find ideas for activities, games, projects or real-world scenarios to bring energy to your lessons. Just make a clear request with some context, and include:
-
the grade or course (6th grade, 8th grade, Algebra 1, etc.)
-
the concept or skill you’re working on
-
the type of activity you want (game, discussion, challenge, project, group activity, warm-up, etc.)
Tip: talk to Ed the way you would to a colleague: the AI adapts to how you phrase things. And if the first suggestion doesn’t work for you, rephrase or ask for a variation!
Here are a few examples of effective prompts you can try right away 👇
