How long does it take to get my graded papers back?

Here's what to expect:

• Your assessment: under 20 minutes. Ed.ai analyzes your question sheet, answer key and grading scale, and builds the detailed grading scale. You can add papers without waiting for this analysis to finish.

• Your students' papers: within 30 minutes after you add them. If you add them while the assessment is still being analyzed, count 30 minutes after the analysis is done.

• With “Batch import” (several papers in one PDF), allow up to 15 extra minutes.

We email you when the analysis of the assessment is complete, then again when all its papers are graded.

Where can I see the expected time?

Right after you create an assessment, the confirmation screen shows when its analysis will be ready, under “AI generated rubric available on:”. Then, in the papers list, each paper being graded shows “Correction available on…”. If that time has passed, it changes to “Grading in progress - Late”: email us at contact@ed.ai with the name of the assessment.
