What educational content are Ed.ai's AI models trained on?
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Ed.ai builds on what official standards expect, such as the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, state standards (TEKS, California…) and Advanced Placement.
But that's not all: the AI is then “guided” by a pedagogical model, designed and tested by our in-house learning team of former teachers, to stay as close as possible to how a real teacher reasons.
In practice:
-
The models are trained on real answer keys, grading scales and rubrics.
-
They also draw on curriculum-aligned reference content validated by our learning team.
-
Each grading step is broken down into precise tasks, tested, then adjusted to avoid errors.
-
Error types and classification systems for each subject serve as standards to make grading reliable.
🎯 The goal: for the AI to suggest grading as close as possible to a teacher's, on a validated pedagogical foundation.
💭 Good to know: each subject has its own pedagogical model, so the grading fits both the habits of teachers in that subject and what the standards expect. These models are set up by teachers who specialize in each subject we release on Ed.ai.
