What happens if a student submits more than once for the same assessment?

Students can’t change a paper once they’ve submitted it.

Here’s how it works:

• If you turned on student paper submission, students can add or remove pages as many times as they like…

• … until they submit their paper. When they click “Submit my assignment”, a message reminds them they won’t be able to change it afterward.

• Once it’s submitted, the paper is locked: the student can no longer change it.

👉 You stay in control: at any time, you can add, edit or delete a paper yourself. If you end up with two papers from the same student, delete the one you don’t want to keep with “Delete paper” in the paper’s menu.
