How do I get the EcoleDirecte API key for Ed.ai?

📍 For schools in France. This article covers a system that only schools in France use.

As your school’s EcoleDirecte administrator (“référent EcoleDirecte”), you can get the API key that turns on the integration between Ed.ai and your school.

Here is how:

🔎 1. Open the EcoleDirecte administration

Sign in to your EcoleDirecte account, then go to:

“Administration EcoleDirecte” (EcoleDirecte administration)

→ “Paramètres généraux” (general settings), then → “Mes applis” (my apps)

🔍 2. Find the Ed.ai app

In the “par nom” (by name) search bar, type: Ed.ai

Then click the Ed.ai app to open its settings.

🔑 3. Copy the API key

In the “Paramétrage” (settings) tab, you’ll find your API key (“clé API”).

You can copy and paste it, then send it straight to us.

✔️ 4. Allow access to the connector

Before you leave this page, remember to turn on access to the connector for your school by clicking:

“Permettre l’accès au connecteur” (allow access to the connector)

This step is required for the integration to work.
