What should I do if a student forgets their password?

It depends on how the student signs in to Ed.ai:

Through your school's LMS (Google Classroom, Canvas, Clever, ClassLink, Schoology…)

The student signs in with their school account: Ed.ai doesn't ask them for a password.

👉 The password is reset in that tool, through your school, not in Ed.ai.

With an Ed.ai username and password

• If the account has an email address, the student can click “I forgot my password” on the sign-in page: sso.ed.ai/en/login

• If you created the student's account yourself (Ed.ai Pro), you can reset the password from the group's student list: click the lock icon next to the student, then “Reset password by email” or “Set a new password”.

• Otherwise, you can't reset the password yourself: 👉 email us at contact@ed.ai with the student's name and group. We'll reset the password so they can sign back in.
