What data does Ed.ai use to improve its AI models?

Last updated: October 15, 2026

No school data is used to train AI models. Your students’ papers, results and learning data are never used to train or improve our models.

✅ What are our models built on?

Our AI models are trained on teaching datasets built specifically for this purpose.

🔒 What about our AI providers?

Ed.ai uses US-hosted language models: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI (Claude, Mistral) and Google Cloud (Gemini).

  • Papers are sent to them de-identified: the student’s first and last name and class are masked.

  • Our contracts provide that these providers don’t keep the data longer than the processing strictly requires, and don’t use it to train their models.

🎯 Our commitment

Your data stays secure, and is never sold or reused for commercial purposes.
