What tips do you have for students?

To get the most out of Ed.ai, follow these few simple rules:

1. Take care of your paper

👉 This isn't just an Ed.ai thing: your teacher asks for neat work too. Turning in neat work is a good habit, because work that's easy to read is better understood and graded more fairly.

So write legibly, and avoid crossed-out work, arrows and notes in the margins.

Number your exercises and questions clearly.

And show your work: write down your steps, not just the final answer. That's how your reasoning gets credit, and how you get more useful feedback.

2. Scan your paper properly

If your teacher lets you scan your own papers:

Use the mobile website app.ed.ai (iOS / Android) to scan.

Lay each page flat in good light, and check that it's well framed, sharp and complete.

One scan for the whole paper is enough.

3. Check your feedback online

To see your graded paper:

  • click the link or scan the QR code your teacher gives you

  • or read the printed summary your teacher hands out

Read each piece of feedback carefully: correct answers, mistakes and the explanations that go with them, and how well you've mastered each skill that was assessed.

4. Redo the questions you found hard

The questions you struggled with are flagged with observations and errors.

Redoing them helps you understand and improve.

5. Do your reteaching activities

You get activities tailored to you, so you can work again on what you didn't get the first time.

You can do them in class or at home, depending on what your teacher asks.

✨ Above all, be curious and engaged with your feedback: that's how you really make progress.

✨ Every mistake is a chance to learn. Ed.ai is here to help you improve, not to judge you.
