How do I add a student during the school year?

1. Your school connects Ed.ai to its LMS or SIS

There's nothing to do in Ed.ai.

👉 Once the student is enrolled in the class in your school's LMS or SIS, they're added to your group at the next roster sync, which runs every night. They don't need to sign in to Ed.ai first.

2. You created the group yourself

• If the student already has an Ed.ai account (in one of your other groups, or at your school if you have a school license), add them with “Add Students” on the group page.

• With Ed.ai Pro, you can also create the student's account yourself: “Create student accounts” on the group page. See Ajouter et modifier un groupe d’élèves

3. Your school uses Ed.ai usernames and passwords created by our team

Email us at contact@ed.ai to request the new student's credentials.

We'll create the account and send you the credentials.

⚠️ Each sign-in method opens a separate account: the new student must sign in the same way as the rest of the class.

Still missing a student? Email us at contact@ed.ai with your school, the group, and the name of the missing student.
